2. Managers are often promoted because they are the best at sales, not because they are the best at management.

3. Managers allow a lack of accountability where victims (salespeople that blame others) run rampant in beverage distributorships.

4. Managers are much better at setting goals than they are helping their salespeople reach those goals.

5. Managers spend a lot of time putting out fires, instead of coaching and mentoring salespeople.

The program (and corresponding one-on-one coaching) is designed to build the manager’s skills and processes so they can better help sales professionals close more sales and maximize market share. Sales Supervisors are taught that the desired outcome of any interaction they have with their sales professionals is for the sales professional to feel better about him/herself after the interaction than before. To raise self-esteem, while at the same time building crucial skills and processes.
